Mourning Sites in Pyongyang Inundated with People; Large Buses Arrive to Warm Mourners

Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) — Mourning sites at Kim Il Sung Square, plazas of Pyongyang Indoor Stadium and April 25 House of Culture and other places of Pyongyang are inundated with people from all walks of life on Dec. 25. 

Large buses have appeared in the mourning site in front of the Hana Music Information Center with a large picture of Kim Jong Il with a broad smile on his face hung in its facade.

The center was the last stop of the field guidance tour made by the leader.

On the buses some mourners warm themselves, taking hot drink or medical service.

Medical workers choose patients among those standing guards of honor beside the picture and invite them to the buses.

Pak Il Nam, a deputy section chief of the Ministry of Land and Marine Transport, told KCNA:

“Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un took special measures for the health of people standing guards of honor in cold days. Yesterday he even sent thousands of waistbands to mourning sites.

We decided to park brand-new large buses around here, leaving their engines running all day long to ensure temperature as high as 25 degrees centigrade inside the buses. Officials stay here to solve any problems.”

Pak Yong Ryol, a 63-year-old woman who had the honor to have a picture taken with President Kim Il Sung, said:

“I am so grateful to respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for his deep loving care. He is, in deed, identical to President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il. Thank you very much, Comrade.”
